I read up on the guy expecting some noob just out of law school, but the guy is in his mid-40s and has been a government lawyer for most of his career, specializing in election law. Went to UVA for law school. If you looked at his credentials, you would think he was qualified. Time on Capitol Hill as a legal counsel, a member of the FEC and he was a practicing attorney. And yet never tried a case in 20 years.
