That's true, but at this point I believe we've reached a stage where there is so much regulation it's impossible to tell where the meat ends and the fat begins.

Pretty much everybody agrees the government employs too many people. And pretty much everybody agrees spending cuts need to be made to address our debt. At some point it just has to be OK to do some trimming of regulatory agencies without it being an ipso facto catastrophe in the making.

I should have phrased that differently. I had a judge tell me just about exactly what you just wrote. He even said court is mostly boring. I was thinking more of Supreme Court justices, both in Washington and at the state level.

Unqualified Knucklehead is a great name for a book, TV show and band. Stealing for all three. You can sue when one of them hits it big.

Like Sam Hinkie, the only way for people to really grasp your unconventional genius is for you to fail so much, and for so long.

How come "Stock market gains don't help the average working Joe" was an acceptable argument - from 2009 until Jan. 19, 2017 - to show how the economy is terrible?

I don't agree with any of that.

FYI, there were more 14.4 Executive Branch employees for every 1,000 in population in 1970. Now there are fewer than nine per 1,000. Federal government employment has been shrinking for a while as a percentage of the population.

    She doesn't represent our party.

There - guess that solves that one.

Republican sell-outs assume *everyone* will reflexively defend anyone even vaguely associated with some people who might be in their party, just because they would.
