She was completely unqualified for that position, and even the man who ostensibly appointed her to it came to hate her guts. In some ways she paved the way for Trump: a moron who understands only how to appeal to other morons.

That's not to say that her family deserves any of the awful shit that's happening to it. Todd in particular always seemed like a decent dude.

I will say, at risk of breaking whatever taboo, that her house doesn't seem like it should have guns in it.

Hope it lands a month before the midterms.

The crazy thing about some of the judicial nominees is that it isn't just the WH house picking these people. It's the home state senators "signing off" on them. Some Dems have been upset that the WH has ignored their input or lack of confidence in a nominee - but you haven't heard much from the GOP until they get in front of a committee. Really surprised there aren't more accomplished judicial candidates in the GOP pipeline.

So disappointing to see the politicians so blatantly abuse their positions of trust to enrich themselves.

Voters, show them that this unacceptable and vote them out ASAP.

It would certainly be nice to see that happen. This tax bill is disgusting.

I think the GOP thinks they can campaign on this as a win. I think that very well could backfire.

Just starting to look at two campaigns?

Stein’s is one. Is the other Bernie’s or Hillary’s?

When asked Monday what the committee was looking for from the Stein campaign, North Carolina Sen. Richard Burr, the committee’s chairman, responded, "collusion with the Russians." Burr said that the committee is "just starting" its work investigating two campaigns, but did not elaborate.

For a Nazi, Trump is surprisingly pro-Israel.

Our foreign policy team is kicking some serious ass. No wonder the establishment is so upset.

How, exactly, is the foreign policy team kicking ass? By writing a paper that Trump might shred with a tweet?
