There are benefits, and always have been. Gorsuch, Haley, Jerusalem, ISIS, mostly areas where I would guess he gets good advice and he doesn't get in the way of it. Still, he gets credit for them. This tax bill seems like a disaster, and like many things related to Trump, personifies all of the cartoon-ish and generally mistaken stereotypes that the left has about the right. His presence in the Oval Office is a constant embarrassment to our country. The damage will be deep and lasting.

So, just in the last couple of days we had fake stories about:

Trump firing Mueller
CDC banning words
Ryan resigning

Great job media. You’ve been reduced to rumor mongering.

The tax bill contains an attack ad on every page. Most members of Congress, Republicans and Democrats, are rich. They all file financial disclosure statements. It will be very easy for Democratic candidates to say, "Republican Congressman X or Senator Y voted to give himself a (fill in large dollar amount) tax cut while you got peanuts or nothing." Guy, I'd say both parties have negative stereotypes, and this bill caters to every one of those about the Republican Party.

 

PizzaGate, Real Unemployment Rate, The Clinton Death List, and My Investigators are finding interesting things in Hawaii all join you in offering their congratulations.

 

A story that has been denied is not fake, especially when denied by a proven liar like Ryan. Stories you don't like are not fake. Stories that say "Trump said x" and then x doesn''t happen are not fake. You fraudulent bad faith attacks on journalism render your other political arguments highly suspect. And "rumor mongering" is an especially bad faith charge coming from you, as a stroll through the pages of this thread would reveal in spades.

She was one of the organizers of the Women’s March, but no one knows who she is, what she believes, or is tainted by their attendance at her event.

You are so right. I am 100% sure that none of those things will happen. None of them! Trump isn't thinking of firing Mueller, Ryan is definitely running again and the Trump appointed Director of the CDC is totally telling the truth as all people connected to Trump do.
