Look, just once — literally one time — I’d like to see a story attributed to a source with “direct knowledge of the conversation.” A direct quote from the conversation would be nice to, on occasion.

Instead, we get sources, who don’t claim to have been in the room, or to have heard the conversation, characterize a conversation they didn’t witness. He was “angry”. He’s “thinking about” doing something.

Based on what? A second hand source’s characterization of a conversation he didn’t hear?

A LinkedIn recommendation is worth more. An SJ.com “like” from @old tony is worth more.

If you're going to credit Trump for how the stock market is going today, then ...

    1. Rubin has always been terrible at writing and logic and her recent Trump criticism doesn't change that.

    2. People acting like Frum also got owned are being disingenuous. He was barely even responded to Cooke, but was making a broader point about conservative rot, which Cooke and Lowrey have no response to, so they circle back to "but you fail to even dispute how much we dunked on Rubin!" Congrats. It's like dunking on Sean Bradley.

Oh this is going to be fun. How much do you want to bet Christie was trying to get people to follow the law during the transition, and the Trumpers were like "Lol, whatever Tubby. You're about to get fired." All over email.

Her presidency isn’t going very well.

I found the AP lead to be quite lazy and narrative-y as well.

Very simple reason that they are different.
I attended one of those marches and they had nothing to do with any of those women. Never mentioned. Maybe it is because of the massive numbers and the variety of issues that were represented. As opposed to their small -one issue- group of deplorables.
