Actually, not like that at all. HOWEVER, the liberals who mocked talk of death panels are the same ones running around with their hair on fire talking about how every piece of GOP legislation is going to kill America, destroy the world, etc. You guys sound like a bunch of fucking nutcases.

Useless feel-good legislation that will be nearly impossible to enforce.

    Hypothetical scenario:

Doctor: "Are you having this abortion because there is a possibility that the fetus you are carrying has Downs?"

    Woman: "No."

    OK, now what?

Are you in favor of eradicating Downs Syndrome and other abnormalities by such means? Could that be another pro on the list of abortion benefits?

Has the federal government or any state implemented a law requiring women who are pregnant with a fetus that may have Downs to have an abortion?

Now answer my question. How does this law get enforced?

No, as the law is written, it's a personal choice to kill your own special needs child.

Legislation aside, are you fine with people getting abortions if they don't want to deal with the struggle of raising such a child? I'm sure as a member of the party which says it looks out for the most vulnerable, you have to be appalled by such a decision. What kind of person would end a life because it would make their own more difficult? Certainly not a person who cares about others, right?

You are still ducking the question. How exactly would a law against such a thing be enforced?

Answer his question, how does the law get enforced? That is a big, big part of this.

I'm not sure. I could see constitutional overreach being argued. But there are more than legal questions. I gave you an answer. Your turn (and Baron can chime in, too). Do you support people getting abortions so they don't have to raise special-needs children? This is essentially how Iceland has "eradicated" Downs Syndrome. Would you like to see a similar thing in this country?

Women have had the legal right to an abortion regardless of their reasons for the past 44 years. I am in favor if a woman having the right to choose to have a legal abortion for whatever reason they choose.

You and the other anti-aborts think you have a gotcha on this because you think it's discriminatory. Except it's not, because women can still choose to abort for other reasons.

Now, for the third time, how does this get enforced?

I would also like to hear from America's Greatest Living Human, @RickStain, as to what he thinks about using abortion to get rid of special needs individuals.
