Do you think aborting special-needs children is a net benefit for society -- from an economic standpoint?

I will love and support that post no matter what.

It really isn't, but I understand why Republicans want to separate the two. Financial hardship is one reason people choose abortions. If you are going to be in the business to force people to have babies they do not want and cannot support, then you need to be in the business of helping them take care of that child.

Those are people, not potential people. As usual, your side is ignoring that very important distinction.

"Financial hardship" is a bullshit reason to kill a child. Being dead is not better than being poor. Or do you think being poor is something that makes life not worth living?

It's a distinction that masks an immorality you would rather not admit.

I never said it was a good reason. I'm being realistic. It is a reason people make that choice. Often, people claim they aren't read when they abort a child. You don't think money is a part of that?

I've said all along, that in most cases, abortion is not a choice I agree with. What I do agree with is the freedom to make that choice.

Except I live by the distinction. You don't live by the rhetoric you spill on this topic. You claim babies are being murdered yet the only action you take is whining about it on a message board. If I actually believed babies were being murdered, I'd be doing a lot more. So you either don't truly believe abortion is murder or you've got moral issues of your own.

I think the majority of abortions are performed because of finances.

This is not an endorsement but the reality of why most choose to abort.

Speaking of potential, oop, do you not believe poor children have the potential to grow up, prosper and do great things? Is "financial hardship" a fate worse than death? If not, then deciding to abort a child because of it is a selfish, disgusting choice.

Another stupid talking point. You think everyone who disagrees with a law should become some sort of crusading vigilante? You don't like the tax bill, right? OK, go rob a bunch of corporations or you're just talking out of your ass! Nonsense.

It's an analogy. Of course it's not the same thing, it wouldn't help if it was.
