Too bad abortion wasn't the thriving industry it is now during The Great Depression. None of us would be here right now and all our problems would be solved.

 

Or maybe Congress could rebuild the middle class instead of selling votes. Prosperous families WANT babies!

 

This is one of my biggest pet peeves about this place. Just because someone discusses something on a message board doesn’t mean it’s the ONLY thing he/she is doing about it.

 

Net benefit economically? I strongly suspect it costs considerably more to take care of the special needs population, overall, than that population currently adds to GDP. But that macro probability has little or nothing to do with parents’ private, individual choices as to whether to abort their fetuses.

 

The Virginia legislature just flipped from minority rule to power sharing after a recount flipped a race by one vote. Literally one vote flipped the whole state.

 

Show me where I said otherwise. You can't because I didn't. These opinions you are trying so hard to attach to me don't even come close to anything I have said.

You want to justify Republicans trying to control women's choice regarding abortion while failing to provide the necessary help to those who are born into poverty, so you fudge and cheat and misrepresent the opinions of others. Doesn't being so dishonest bother you sometimes?

Better question: If abortion is murder, why aren't you doing more to stop it?

 

Again, you are misrepresenting my point. Please, as a change of pace, try arguing with intellectual integrity.

I never said people should become vigilantes because they disagree with a law. I'm talking about one specific thing: the murder of infants. How can you possibly believe infants are being murdered in considerable numbers and do so little about it? How does that not eat at your soul?

 

If QYFY is doing more, he has had ample opportunity to tell us about it. Instead, he is trying to run from the point because he knows I've got him. He knows he either doesn't truly believe that abortion is murder or he is allowing heinous acts to occur around him every day, which puts that yoke of moral failing he is trying so hard to put on me tightly around his own neck.

 

Don't make enough money, gotta have an abortion.
