A myriad of people die every day from unjust circumstances. This is correlated to tribal hate (some religious) , corruption, greed, incompetence, selfishness and indifference.

The priority of right thinking people should be to fight against the above.

 

You're assuming it will work that way. I'm not. The hypothetical woman could have still changed her mind for other reasons, but such legislation opens the door for subjective judgements by those looking to infringe upon a woman's choice.

 

And then the Republicans have their opening to take away a woman's choice.

No, I don't think it's wrong to charge two murders when a pregnant woman is killed. But then again, the killer isn't the one who is pregnant; the woman is. I know, big concept.

A woman has the right to choose how the pregnancy turns out since, you know, she's the one who is pregnant, and is bearing the physical toll of the pregnancy. Someone else kills the fetus, they are making the choice for her. That's the difference.

 

Speaking of accessories, since anti-aborts feel fetuses are equal people, suppose a pregnant woman commits a crime? Can the fetus be charged as an accessory? After all, they didn't do anything to stop them, didn't they?
