I don't get tripped up. I pause to think about it. You should familiarize yourself with the two verbs in that sentence. Both are sometimes good things to do.

 

I don't get the gotcha. That Erdogan is against him? That implies that he got it right to me.

 

Nobody is forcing you or anybody else to send your child to a private school and the government shouldn't be paying for you to send your child to a private school. You don't want to pay twice? Use the local public school.
