President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

Perhaps Obama could have stepped up and led by pressuring Russia instead of turning a blind eye. Everyone is so up in arms about Trump and his lack of diplomacy, but where was Obama on the diplomatic front? Where was he on any front? There are sanctions, air strikes, all manner of approaches that are far from "hundred of thousands" of troops (rolly eyes). Hell, why didn't Obama, the world's bestest friend, get the full force of the wonderful UN behind an effort to stop Assad and Putin. He was the leader of the free world and the only lasting thing he did re: Syria was run interference on law enforcement so a terrorist organization could maintain its influence in the conflict.

 

More sloganeering. Pressure Russia how? Get full force of UN how?

He already did do sanctions against Assad in 2011, and we did airstrikes against ISIS in 2014. So what else would you have had him do?

 

Man, Trump is going to spend all week tweeting isn’t he?

 

This is all horseshit from the usual suspects who'd be happy to have 1 million Americans die for Israel. Strike that. Not for the real Israel, for the insane one that lives inside their heads.
