Does anyone think that the problem is ever that the Muslim countries are against abortion and gay marriage? I have no idea who this person is, but it's a remarkable display of obliviousness.

 

Sigh. No, that's not what I'm saying at all, or an accurate extension of my logic. What I am saying is that there are religion-free parts of private education that should be, at least partially paid for from the pot I contribute to. Whatever the logic is that education is a value better paid for communally as opposed to milk which we pay for privately and have those in need supplemented, should apply to all of us.

And what you are saying is incorrect and fails to address the reality of the situation. This isn't just funding of relgion-free private education. In fact, I'd guess that more of it will go to pay for religious private schooling. And anybody who is paying attention will know without a doubt that it was the goal, to use public money to pay for private, religious education.

The point of public school is to make sure everyone has access to a free education. That is what people paying their local school taxes are funding, a fair opportunity for everybody. The private school folks want the public to pay for them to get more than their fare share and now they are going to get their way. Given the very large number of people who want this so they can get the public to pay for their child's religious school, it is a perversion of the role government is supposed to play in this country and a violation of the separation of church and state.

 

Yesterday, it was reported that the FBI thwarted a terrorist attack by an ISIS-inspired freak. No comment from the White House. Perhaps because the news runs counter to Trumpists' narrative that the FBI has overrun by soft leftists whose only goal is to take down Dear Leader Trump.

 

Obama's second term extended to this summer? That's strange. I thought Republicans said it ended after Scalia died.

The President of the United States is a piece of shit. A racist, stupid, narcissistic piece of human garbage. If he knocked on my front door, I'd spit in his face and slam it. But the imagined grievances of his supporters here are so strong they WANT to identify with scum. They are not worthy of comment. They are as sick as he is. What are you rambling about now, old man? Obama's handling or lack thereof of Syria has always been an issue, and it's back in the news with the Politico story. Do you have ANY cogent arguments to make regarding that?
