Journalists were not handed a Golden Goose on election night, but many were handed a lifeboat.

 

You can't have it all. Your guy is in the White House. Seems like the continued employment of a few hundred journalists should be a small price to pay.

 

The disdain for journalists suffering under his presidency reflects a certain self-loathing that says more about you than it does the working journalists.

 

It does get an bit tiresome to be labeled as not “real America” if you live in a big city. I see your point. It’s been done. But NYC, LA, Chicago, etc. are “real America” just as much as any other place in the country. One could argue MORE American, since that’s where most people live.

But the AP series is on Trump’s America, which by and large does not exist in the cities.

 

He is pretty far to the right. I look at his twitter every now and then. Lots of Jack Posobiec, Jacob Wohl, lots of memes.
