Have the Floyd going on my Pandora.

I forgot how many good songs were on Meddle.

    One Of These Days
    Fearless
    Echoes
    Pillow Of Winds

But the fact that they put a song on the track of a dog howling (Seamus) is just bizarre.

What other underrated albums can you think of?

Couple more from Ye Olde Chef......

    Pump-Aerosmith
    Love Over Gold-Dire Straits

Pump isn’t underrated at all. If anything, it’s a little overrated.

The first one that comes to my mind is G ‘n R Lies.

Blind Melon’s debut. Much more than a novelty song. “Soup,” the follow-up, is also great.

Violent Femmes first album is only known for 'Blister in the Sun' but is excellent all the way through.
    Best album of the 1980s.

Speaking of the 1980s and Pink Floyd, 'The Final Cut.'
Gilmour has lambasted it, but it is better than any post-Waters Floyd album.

Yep. That debut is great. And their third and last album, Nico, is also really good. "Soul One" is my favorite Blind Melon song.

There's probably a case to be made that "Chinese Democracy" is pretty underrated. I haven't listened to it in a while, remember it being OK... but people waited 10 long years to shit all over that album.

U2's "Songs of Innocence" was a terrific album. The actual music was ignored while everyone bitched that it was free. (The new one is pretty good, too.)

I think Animals by Floyd might be even more underrated, mostly bc it has even better tracks IMHO.

Also, Fashion Nugget by Cake. That was a press play album for me and my friends circa 1997.

    Also, Grace by Jeff Buckley.

And definitely Chinese Democracy by Guns. The title track, IRS and Catcher in the Rye are great fucking songs and ya never hear any of them on the radio.

2 Suns In The Sunset is a sweet-ass song.
As for anything post Roger, I would throw in "Momentary Lapse Of Reason" as better than "The Final Cut."

Bob Dylan's Street-Legal is awesome and was never recognized as so.

The Gaslight Anthem's Handwritten is really good in hindsight. I think we just all were tired of the same formula by that point.

Living Colour’s Time’s Up is one of my favorite albums. So, so much better than Vivid.
