Some people think Trent Dilfer was an.excellent QB because the Ravens won the Super Bowl.

There's a movie made in the 90s where she plays a masseuse or something, and gets naked. They're massive.

Javier Bardem is even better in Biutiful than he is in NCFOM, which is excellent.

Dilfer didn't do anything equivalent to winning an Oscar for that team.

No shit. The point was that Bardem, like Dilfer, was a player on the championship team who didn't do very much although he was better than Bardem in what was a really boring shitty movie.

Your point would have made sense if only the movie won awards, but Bardem's performance did not. Given that he won an Oscar for that role, your point does not hold up.

This is the cinematic equivalent of preferring steak well done with ketchup.

And Songbird seeks refuge in the lame personal attack, the hiding place of the poster who has failed miserably in his argument.

People are totally free to hate movies that other people like, and vice versa. But when you call an actor's performance "laughable," and 99 percent of critics and some large percentage of a film's audience thinks that an actor was not just serviceable in a role, but transcendent, and then said actor also wins an Oscar for the same performance, as well as a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a New York Film Critics Circle Award, you risk looking like either a faux contrarian or a really poor watcher of cinema.

    His haircut sucked in NCFOM.
