Is that up for a vote in the Senate?

It's not about how he votes. At least, not when it comes to traditional Republican agenda items.

Lol. At least Trump’s Black voted for him.

The Jewish attorney that Roy Moore's wife touted employing in an attempt to fight off claims of anti-semitism is actually a longtime friend and supporter of Senator-elect Doug Jones, who defeated Moore last month.

Richard Jaffe is an Alabama defense attorney hired by the Moores to defend their son, Caleb Moore, against drug charges in 2016.

Jaffe told the Washington Examiner he has been close personal friends with Doug Jones for over 30 years and he both contributed to, and raised money for, his campaign.

"There could not be a more passionate supporter of Doug than me!" Jaffe said.

The Birmingham based lawyer walked alongside Jones as he took center stage to deliver his acceptance speech and plans to be in the DC Senate gallery on Wednesday as Jones is sworn in.

So, it’s just about being a public scold? He doesn’t need to be in the Senate to play that role. Besides, doesn’t Ben Sasse already have that covered?

If all goes well, the Dems will at least control the House after the midterms. The Senate is still a reach. Romney will obviously vote for traditional republican agenda items. But Hatch going home is definitely a good thing.

And, if the momentum continues, perhaps the Senate will be getable for the Dems. Anything to help render Trump politically impotent is good.

Trump doesn't know nor care what is on the agenda, aside from another weekend of golfing at Mar-A-Lago.

Having some skin in the game will show us what he's really made of. A loud and clear message that the Republican agenda is not worth sacrificing basic human decency or sanity.

Regardless of how (or when) Trump's presidency ends, the justifications given in support of it will hold up as well as episodes of Amos n' Andy.
