2 things:

1. Many Democrats, including those who voted for Obama, voted for Trump. I know some.

2. Obama’s presidency is tricky. He was unquestionably a better, more moral man than Trump. And yet...the best way to put it is I haven’t seen our nation this engaged in a long time. It feels like an actual conversation - messy, angry, full-throated. And the media is engaged in a great way. Obama made liberals Coast in a way that opened the door for Trump.

I think that’s reductive and an easy shot if because there are people who really believe he did shit the bed, mostly by doing quite little that wasn’t right out of the progressive playbook.
