Caught Silence of the Lambs the other day, and it's OK, but I get stuck thinking about how great it could have been with Dave Coulier as Lecter.

Had a classic film blind spot: Jaws.

Watched it last night. Thought the psychological tension level throughout was great. And it was funnier than I thought it would be.

Couldn't agree more. And if only they'd cast Jeff Foxworthy as Buffalo Bill. "If you ask it to put the lotion in the basket, you might be a redneck."

Still one of my all-time favorites.
The zoom shot of Brody on the beach is so great.

  6. Watched King Arthur: The Legend of the Sword... The Guy Ritchie movie.
I was hesitant about it. Love the Arthurian legend, and a lot of the movies attempts, for whatever reason miss. The Clive Owen movie wasn't so hot ...
But I am BIG Guy Ritchie fan, and this one didn't disappoint. It's not a true King Arthur movie, but it is a true Ritchie flick - Sherlock Holmes, Snatch, and LSATSB. I enjoyed it.

Caught Trading Places the other day and wondered why it isn't considered a Christmas classic the way Die Hard is. Then you get to the train scene and Holy Shit, the movie comes totally unglued. What a mess. Someone needs to redo this movie and come up with a better way for the heroes to get the crop report from Beaks.

Ya mean the script was tight when the two racist millionaires arranged to swap the rich white educated guy for the homeless black street hustler?

My suspension of disbelief only goes so far.

Just watched it myself. Quirky but hilarious at points. And there's no doubt James Franco has some game.

Very much a modernized version of "Ed Wood," to be honest.

Saw the second Jumanji. Funnier. Liked it better than the first because they didn't make the plot as serious as the first.
