You're a generation older than me. When I was a teen,you could get a quarter-ounce for $30. Fast-forward 15 years and a friend of a younger relative casually mentions he has $200 and he's looking for weed. I think to myself, "Holy shit, dude, you have a problem." Turns out, it was $200 for a quarter-ounce.

That was more than a decade ago, BTW. Can't imagine paying that much for weed, no matter how good it is. I'll just take some extra Zoloft.

 

Good weed from a dispensary is around $10 or $12 a gram up here. When you realize you can get buzzed off a couple of pulls—maybe 50 cents worth of pot—you understand what a miracle it is.

 

Pretty sure it would be a walking thread at most. Strolling.

 

In Vermont it's 400 a Z for great stuff. So I hear. I don't smoke anymore.

I was in Seattle a couple of falls ago and on a lark walked into a dispensary with some local friends. I didn't buy anything, but it looked like you could get your hands on quite a lot for $20, $30.
