President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

Retail is going to continue to suffer. We all know that.

But, manufacturing, construction, and healthcare are all adding jobs.

 

Even so (and there's some truth to what they were getting at) ... if the number's going down, then generally unemployment's also going down.

Now that we have a child, I’m kind of over the dog to be honest. Lucky for him, Fiona loves him.

You can tell people know they are lying when they do it this brazenly. He did not *just* ask for the wall. He asked for a shit-ton more than that.

 

We got our dog a month before we found out we were having our second boy, and let me tell you, we would have done things differently.

This morning’s presidential Twitter outburst recalls those words of Fredo Corleone’s in one of the most famous scenes from The Godfather series. Trump tweeted that his “two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart,” and in a subsequent tweet called himself a “very stable genius.”

Mnuchin and his sugar-babe trophy wife don't go anywhere without insisting on being pampered and coddled at every step. But they do admire all those ambitious worker-units pulling double shifts at the Four Seasons hotels.

 

Republicans: We'll not deport children who literally were too young to remember crossing the border, who may not have found out they weren't born here until they were almost adults, to a country they've never known. But only if you agree to fund the wall, let us hire a shit-ton of new officers for a highly problematic and abusive police organization, make your cities less safe with our shitty rules that take away local municipalities' rights, let us put everyone who ever said the words "Russia" and "collusion" in the same sentence in jail, and everyone has to agree that we never actually supported a child molester for Senate.

Republican laundry sniffers are issued their talking point: "Say that Democrats must not really care about DACA, all we asked for was the wall and they balked!"
