I'm catching up, about five pages behind.

I predict TrumpFan will have ignored this post.

Let us also pause and reflect that his election was totally avoidable if the far left hadn’t insisted on tearing down Hilary Clinton, including all those times she was deemed ideologically unfit for the black vote because of her husband’s passage of the 1994 crime bill.

    Yep.

Sure, it's the far left's fault he was elected and not the 63 million economically anxious members of far right and the wealthy elite looking for tax cuts.

    Yep.

It lies with the people who stayed home in swing states because they had a “plague on both houses” mindset.

I'm not sure how many times I need to explain this to you.

The criticism was that the Obama administration was relying solely on the U3 rate to paint a rosy picture of the employment situation.

It ignored how many people were working part time jobs, without benefits, like health insurance. It ignored that wages were stagnant. It ignored that many people were in jobs that paid less than their previous jobs.

And, if you looked at things like the U6 rate, the labor participation rate, the number of people on disability, and other factors, you got a more realistic picture, that was not nearly as rosy.

Now, if you'd like to look at any of those other factors, to dispute the current job market, go right ahead. But, by any metric, the job market is improving.

And, because we are nearing full employment, wages are rising. In some markets, were unemployment is particularly low, we've already seen wages spike.

Manufacturing is up. Construction is up. Consumer confidence is up.

The loosening of regulations, the tax cuts, the repatriation of overseas profits, and new oil drilling are only going to add to the improving economy.

And, enforcing immigration laws means that there is less downward pressure on the wages for low skill jobs, and more of these jobs are now available. We've already seen big drops in the unemployment rate for African-Americans.
