Not sure I've heard a louder stadium.

Mine are more known for quirkiness than any widespread recognition.

Example: I was a working member of the media at the game that became know as the Swindle at the Swamp, Florida State 38, Florida 34, in 2003, which continues to be Exhibit A for how two fanbases can see the same sets of plays so differently. It was too cold for November in Florida, below 40 in an open air press box; it ended with a helmet swinging brawl; and it made it so the home team's conference supplied the officials in future games.

Game 4 of the 1983 NLCS when the Phillies beat the Dodgers to win it. My dad came home from work said he got two tickets in the left field 700 level at the Vet.

As far as covering a game, the 2015 FCS championship between North Dakota State and Illinois State. Wentz led the game-winning drive in the final 2:30.

My old man was at Secretariat's last race, at Woodbine outside Toronto.

Game 7 of the 2016 World Series.

That's all we'll say about that.

My old man was at Arnie’s last round at the Masters.

I have a fairly underwhelming history here. Limited to Game 3 of the 1989 ALCS, during which Jose Canseco became the first man to hit a fair ball into the 500 level at Skydome.

I saw Mike Scott throw a no hitter to clinch the pennant for the 1986 Astros, so far as I know the only time that's ever happened.

Michael Jordan hit a home run while I was at a Birmingham Barons game, nearly as rare, lol.

The Pickle Juice game at Texas Stadium in 2000. The temperature on the turf that day was 130°. A watershed game because it drove the final nail into the 1990s Cowboys Super Bowl era and heralded the arrival of the Eagles.

I was at the US-Russia Olympic hockey game...

In 2014. Still good, with the TJ Oshie shootout.

A bunch of my inlaws were at the Miracle on Ice game and ensuing gold medal game. My father in law claims to have been the first person to jump on the ice after the gold medal game. So, there’s that.

My personal best experience: the 2003 Big 12 championship when K-State beat No. 1 OU. As a guy from a big K-State family, that was special.
