Many of the accounts of what has happened in the Trump White House are in conflict with one another; many, in Trumpian fashion, are baldly untrue. LOL. I think it may have happened therefore, it happened.

 

He's literally just describing what a journalist's job is.

 

People are born male or female (in the vast, vast, vast majority of instances). That is their sex.

Over time people identify as male, female, Lena Dunham, etc. That is their gender.

Gender is a social/psychological/societal thing ... sex is a “Y chromosome or not” thing.
