I was hoping Braun would run in and tip Brock's ambulance, for old times sake.

Let's assume for argument's sake Mania goes as we think it'll go......who would you most like to see chase Roman in his first title feud:

    1--Samoa Joe

    2--Finn Balor with OGBC

    3--Miz

Finn was pretty good last night.....that whole club not the club thing is going better than I expected

    Finn.

Joe's been really good as a contender, but at some point, he has to win the big one. Miz has been fine, but everyone knows that he won't beat Reigns.

I think Miz needs to win the IC title from Roman next week. Give him a long run, maybe even beat Honky Tonk's record. I'm sure WWE would want that. Heck, they already replaced Demolition's record so why not?

Bobby Roode's head is truly bizarre.
The dude is built like a bobblehead doll. He's got this strangely long neck and a huge head that's totally disproportionate to his body. Looking at his head it looks like he should be about 6-8, 300 pounds. He's listed at 6-0, 235.
It freaked me the hell out.

So on the Rumble card we got 2 world title matches, two tag title matches (one of which 2 out of 3 falls), a us title match, possibly a cruiserweight title match....that's a 2 1/2 hour ppv already.

    Plus two Rumbles......yikes.

The 2014 Rumble only had 3 matches with one rumble.....15 and 16 had 4....this is gonna be one heluva long show

That belly to belly off the top rope was sweet ... for 1980.
By today's higher standards it looks sloppy and awkward.
With all due respect, if any of the upper-card guys on the 2017 roster time traveled back to that era and put on even an average 15-minute match by today's standards it would make the crowd's heads explode.

A few years back, they used to show classic matches from MSG. They showed the Dynamite Kid vs. Tiger Mask match from 1982.

Crowd went wild, and gave Tiger Mask a huge ovation when he faked a dive out of the ring as Dynamite moved and did a 619 back into the ring. Today, we'd be "meh," but back then, they flipped out like it was the greatest move they'd ever seen.

Yeah, that's the downside of watching old matches on the Network. Some of the stuff is fascinating from a historical or analytical perspective -- like seeing the Hogan-Dibiase match from 1979 when both guys were relative nobodies, or a legendary match, or breaking down the structure of the match and seeing how certain things have evolved to the present day -- but so much of it is unwatchable dreck simply because we've become accustomed to so much more.
It's not even that those guys weren't talented for their day. It's just a totally different in-ring product now. Matches used to focus on brawling and mat wrestling for the most part, and now it's all about athleticism.
