If the Democrats run a candidate who will beat Trump I don't care what species that nominee is, let alone gender.

Trump tweeted five times this morning about things he'd seen on Fox & Friends. That show shapes his presidency more than he does.

You should go with Hillary Clinton. She’s a woman, obviously. She already beat Trump by 3 million votes in the popular vote. She only would need to flip a few thousand votes in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin to win.

Plus, she’s smarter and more qualified than anyone else the Dems could run.

Still the queen of #alternate facts. And still hasn't recovered from Bowling Green.

A former intelligence officer had an article in the Post yesterday (paywall, sorry) saying there is no question foreign intelligence services are both watching and targeting Fox News. I made my original post before I was aware of this piece.

I don't blame them. There hasn't been a more direct line to the president since JFK's last sidepiece.

    Well-played! (was the hyphen ill-advised?)

I thought Mar-a-Lago was the most direct line to Trump.

That's in person. It's also way more expensive than watching television if you're an intelligence service.

    Yes, no hyphen.

    Sincerely,

Everyone agrees that Harvey Weinstein’s behavior was an “open secret”.

David Carr didn’t include it in his feature, but he learned of Rose MacGowan’s rape accusation while reporting it.

    Agents and publicists knew.

A whisper network tried to keep women safe from him.

But, somehow, we’re supposed to believe that the most connected people in the world, Oprah Winfrey, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama, had no idea about his behavior.

    Well, not everyone believes that.
