President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

Trump is oddly silent when NBA players and coaches criticize him.

 

The guy has gotten pussy and shithole into national news headlines.

The copy editors I used to work with would have heart attacks if they were still in the business.

 

Shithole is a term of endearment. Trump was just showing Christian campassion.

 

“Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?” Trump said, according to these people, referring to African countries and Haiti. He then suggested that the United States should instead bring more people from countries like Norway, whose prime minister he met Wednesday.

Someone needs to put a camera on Norwegians and ask them how they feel about moving to Trump's America.

 

It's tricky, because the two who have really gone after him are Gregg Popovich and Steve Kerr. Strangely, Trump doesn't seem to want to pick a fight with them.

The only one he attacked was Steph Curry for suggesting he may not go to the White House.

 

And where is republican leadership on this? So far, crickets. But as we all know, the real sin here is pointing out that Trump is a racist and that his supporters love him for it.

 

Curry's half alright.

 

What's stupid? That she's reporting that? Or that some White House staffers think it will resonate with his base? Or both?

 

Latter. I'm sure it resonates in some corners, but targeted Twitter pwns aren't a good electoral strategy.
