This is spot on, and it's not just evangelicals and the Supreme Court. Your typical midwestern farmer doesn't particularly like a lot of the Republican politicians he votes for, but he dislikes a heavy inheritance tax and EPA regulations more.

I'd still love to try to write for one of those publications, if I ever have time. I have a job, a mortgage, a wife, and kids.
