Don't think it was brought up when Wolff's book first came out, but one excerpt mentioned that Fatboy and Melania have separate White House bedrooms, which should surprise nobody, and that this is the first such arrangement since JFK and Jackie, which did surprise me a little.

Anyway, I wonder how much it's like "War of the Roses" these days in the upstairs hallways of the White House. They must despise each other at this point, so maybe they snarl and spit at each other when they pass each other in private.

 

For most Americans (myself included), another place could be better in just about every measurable metric . . . except not knowing the language. And that winds up overshadowing everything else. I would be a functional citizen in only a handful of foreign countries.
