Another thing to be aware of. If there was no conflict around here and everyone agreed, there'd be about 12 posts a day. I've seen it.

 

Has Trump tweeted about Hawaii yet? Or was he too busy golfing and/or reviewing porn star NDAs?

 

I have to say, neither the governor of Hawaii, nor his head of emergency management, had any gravitas at all.

It was odd to see. They looked lost in their news conference.

 

At the risk of interrupting the interpersonal drama with politics, Trey Gowdy has resigned from the Ethics Committee, citing "a challenging workload" since assuming the chairmanship of the Oversight Committee.

"When I became Chairperson of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform I knew I would not be able to keep all other committee assignments to include Judiciary, Intelligence and Ethics," Gowdy wrote.

"Four committee assignments, including a Chairmanship, is a challenging workload," the letter said.

There’s nothing suspicious about this.

 

I just hope this doesn't get locked again. This is great entertainment and more than a few times a day there are some really good, insightful comments shared. I never really understood why the thread is ever locked. We are all adults and compared to the average citizen we are all fairly intelligent and to some degree talented/succesful in our chosen fields. If a few enjoy a good donnybrook now and then so be it.

 

Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown is running all African countries tonight. I didn't check on this earlier in the week so maybe it was already scheduled. But do you think this is CNN tweaking Trump and his fans?
