Live look at that Jaguars defense on Bell on the 4 & 1

That was a horrible play call on fourth down by the Steelers. That play had no chance. This game is over in the first quarter.

Edit: Terrible defensive design on that third down, too. They rushed four and still ended up with a linebacker one-on-one against a wide receiver. The Steelers are getting dominated in every area, including coaching. The Jaguars had a great plan coming into this game. The Steelers clearly did not.

That was a horrible call. Can't run wide against a defense that good on fourth and inches.

Wow. Spence got blatantly held in the hole, but the Steelers were penalized? Pittsburgh is playing horribly, but the officials are not helping.

The way Fournette keeps pushing the pile down the field indicates one team out there doesn't much feel like playing football this afternoon.

Because they spent all week worrying about next week's game and not situational football

Agreed. The Steelers cannot stop the run at all. So much for Fournette hitting the rookie wall.

I don't think that is it at all. I do think sitting the starters in the final game of the season was a factor. The Steelers didn't even show up for this game. The last thing they could afford was a slow start against this team.

The Pittsburgh defense is terrible. It was shaky at best with Shazier and it has done nothing but get worse since. Even if the offense can get going, they can't get enough stops to make this game, much less come back and win.

OOP, you're not off with the sitting the starters thing. Look who lost last week - KC and the Rams. Both sat their starters.
