I’ve seen a lot less of it than you have.

Isn't the literal pulling back of her hand from his penis 5-7 times a stronger non-verbal cue in the opposite direction?

Do the Washington Post, New York Times, and Atlantic not load on your computer?

Yes. And I guess that will be the eternal dispute, but there's enough reason -- in her own story -- for a neutral observer to interpret it that way.

    He's a comedian. He was joking. [/@TheSportsPredictor]

In the famous Moonlighting scene, Maddie slapped David twice and called him a name. Then she had sex with him.

We are cultured to believe this is how sex happens.

One possibility. Perhaps he saw it as one thing and she saw it as something else. Did her verbal cues come with laughter? He can choose to interpret it as a joke.

Sure. Still mixed messages, I think. "Mixed" doesn't have to mean 50-50.

I can't hold you to other people's posts. That wouldn't be fair. But I'll just say that when I suggested Louis C.K. may have interpreted laughter as consent, it was not well-received here.

I absolutely believe he interpreted the situation differently than she did. That is the problem

To borrow from @RickStain 's rhetoric, it is creepy and weird that we are crediting the recipient's interpretation of cues here over the issuer's. She believes her cues were more than adequate. Why do we doubt this?

He had the taste of her vagina on the back of his throat and tongue, and the spank bank visions of her mouth on his cock.

You know, the fuck chemicals just don't turn off that fast.
