NFL Conference Championship Sunday: Blake Bortles' Date With Destiny

Discussion in 'Sports and News' started by Michael_ Gee, Jan 15, 2018.

  1. Food for thought ...
Jeff Fisher as Rams head coach had: Foles, Keenum and Goff at QB.

These records are worth nothing, this isn’t close to the same team.

So Fisher is not going to the Hall of Fame without a ticket?

    Referees are out.

Clete Blakeman, who did Super Bowl 50, is on the AFC title game. Kent Payne of Colorado is also working the game.
Guns Hochuli, who did Super Bowls XXXII and XXXVIII, is on the NFC game. It's his 11th Super Bowl, AFC or NFC title game. Pretty impressive.

Super Bowl LII referee hasn't been announced/leaked, but those officials most likely worked games this past weekend.

Football Zebras said Steratore was going to get the gig but it could change based on performance last week. Wonder if Steratore's extended use of replay and the lengthy replay at the end might hand it to Vinovich, who IMO is the best in the game.

Vinovich is very good. Not my favorite, but he's clearly ahead of Index Card Gene.

And confirmed: Steratore is the white hat for the Super Bowl.

Call me crazy but I think the Jags have a chance. Nantz might cry in the booth if the Pats lose, which would make it that much better.

If I was in Vegas I'd wait 'til kickoff and see if +10 hits the board.

I’d take Jags +10. Nothing less.

He won't be the only one. Whoever is broadcasting the Super Bowl will join him. Nothing like the nation's 48th-ranked market to put a damper on the event.
