I wondered about the fingers down the throat thing, too. I can't say I've tried, but I imagine it's really hard to stick your fingers down someone's throat without their opening their mouth. I mean, sticking your fingers down someone's throat when they DO NOT want you to strikes me as requiring some serious violence. I didn't get the sense from Grace's account that Ansari was violent.

Also calling it "The Claw" seems a little too... Made to go viral.

 

Yet *another* strawman. The strawmen arguments are endless in these things.

 

Ansari was not caught up in some magical silent removal of consent that no man could have possibly understood. He ignored multiple verbal statements of non-consent.

When some poor man is actually caught up in such a silent removal, we can discuss it. Until then, it's silly deflection and overdefensiveness.

 

Did the dirt, trees, and leaves give verbal and non-verbal cues to proceed?
