Quick factual question: Are the Dreamers illegal immigrants?

I would think "no." Their parents were/are, I get that, but they were born here. Or are they, legally, "fruit of the poisonous tree," like evidence found during an illegal search?

Because it seems the McConnell and the GOP are leaning hard that the Dems are fighting for "illegal immigration," which I don't think is factually true if the Dreamers aren't illegal immigrants.

I know, I know, "truth," LOL...

 

Do Senate republicans even have 50 votes? It's laughable they'd try to pin this on democrats. They can do CHIP anytime and it will pass with ease. They can do DACA at any time and it will pass with ease.

Pretty outrageous they're holding kids and dreamers hostage because they're unwilling to do their jobs.
