FWIW, Marrone just said in the CBS halftime interview he thought the helmet-to-helmet on Gronk was a good call.

 

Wonder when the Jags’ headsets will go out.

 

Fortunately for the Patriots, Gronk's cognitive baseline isn't too high to begin with.

I thought the helmet-to-helmet was a decent call. The PI was totally bullshit.

 

If the play starts one second sooner, Jags would have been in field-goal range after the throw to Lewis. At the very least, Pats don't get the ball back with more than 1 minute left.

 

I can concede the helmet to helmet, although I think it should have been a no-call. Church got as much shoulder as helmet and he wasn't headhunting at all. That definitely felt like one of those drives where the New York office was screaming into the officials' headsets, though.
