A major complaint from... Chuck Schumer, Dick Durbin, and Lindsey Graham.

Trump has consistently, and publicly, expressed what he needs to see in a deal. If the Dems want a deal, they could have one tonight.

So can the Republicans. And the Republicans also could pass a bill to make sure the troops get paid. But they denied it. Why do Republicans hate the military?

I don't think you understand what the word "deal" means.

No, that was one year ago.

It was a balmy 32 degrees in Haines, Alaska yesterday. It was between 10-16 when this photo was taken.

Senate Dems blocked a non-controversial CR, that had no poison pill in it, that Republicans were trying to make the Dems swallow. In fact, more than that, it funded CHIP -- a Democrat priority -- for six years.

Dems only blocked it, because they want to try and force the President's hand on an issue fully removed from the budget process.

McConnell said the other day straight out he had no idea what the president wanted.
Never has a minority party been blamed for so much.

Governing is hard. It must really suck to spend a year with a party trying to stop everything you're trying to do. I can't imagine what THAT'S like.

Of course Dems also hoped that shutting down the government, regardless of why, or who was responsible, that Republicans would get the blame, and it would distract from the good news, that was benefitting Republicans.
