I am going to hate myself in the morning, but here goes:

    Why is that relevant?

Because without her physical body, the fetus doesn't exist.

OK. Let's do it this way.

Instead of asking why they aren't marching in response to Weinstein, let me ask why they are marching in response to Trump.

What about Trump makes him a particular threat to women?

    His supreme court pick?

Neil Gorsuch is the kind of judge any Republican president would have chosen.

His policies towards women? Like what, and which of them were apparent prior to the planning of the original march?

Does he not respect women, or appoint them to important jobs?

Last I looked, his campaign manager, who is now a top advisor, his spokesperson, his director of communications, his U.N. Ambassador, who is as much a face of his foreign policy as his secretary of state is, and the person he backed for RNC Chair, are all women.

    But ... so what?

I don't think it necessarily follows that this grants the host complete authority over whether the other living entity lives or dies.

I'm not a woman. So I am not going to answer for women.

What did the women who marched say when you asked them why the are marching?

So I'd ask again, regarding outrage and timing:

    Why Weinstein? Why now?

Why not Weinstein five years ago?

Why not Ailes ten years ago?

Why not a million women in the streets and a social media tsunami over Bill Cosby?

She's bearing the physical toll of the pregnancy. Shouldn't she be able to decide if she doesn't want to continues bearing get physical toll?

To put it another way, should a person be able to demand that another person undergo a physical toll, whatever that may be, so that first person can survive?

I'm talking about elective abortion, not a health-of-the-mother exception.

    So am I.

Physical toll of the pregnancy means everything physically related, from morning sickness, to major illness, to the eventual pain of giving birth.
