What are the best movie fight scenes ever?

The first time I saw that 'Anchorman' fight seen was great. So funny and unexpected.

Kill Bill fights scenes are just the best though:
1. Vs. Darryl Hannah in the trailer
2. Vs. the Crazy 88s
3. Vs. Vivica Fox

 

Anybody else notice similarities between the bar in that Airplane! scene and the bar in the shootout in Inglorious Basterds? The stairs on the far wall with the bar running along the wall on the left.

Has this been done for shootouts and care chases?

 

The fight scenes in the Bourne movies always worked for me, mainly because they didn't look so choreographed and their use of various props at hand. Greengrass's style of shooting also made it seem more immediate, messy, desperate and brutal.

 

Pretty much The Raid: Redemption from beginning to end.

 

I read the subject line as "Best movie flight scenes" and came in here to discuss Airplane! and Apollo 13.

I've never seen the whole movie, but I've seen some clips that are amazing.

That also makes me think we need a television division. Daredevil has three scenes in its two seasons that are very much the same style, two with the title character and a truly amazing one with the Punisher.

 

That one had the element of shock. The Anchorman 2 fight scene might actually have topped it for star power.

And yes, Uma against the world provided some great scenes, too.

 

Disagree. I thought the Rocky fight scenes (granted, I haven't seen very many of them given that I gave up on that franchise pretty early) were horribly cartoonish and over the top. Looked nothing like a real boxing match.

 

Same for the sequel. A lot of suspension of disbelief required when it comes to how much punishment the human body can absorb and still keep ticking, but tremendous from start to finish.
