    Playing well. (+1 through 7)
I think he got a very good draw too. (Reed-C.Hoffman)
He doesn't feel like he has to hit it 330 to keep up with Day and Fowler.

Ol' Shane wants us to hang our heads in shame for being curious about Tiger's rounds, huh?

    With a rusty chainsaw.

    Playing the 18th now.
As of now, did not make a putt outside of 4 feet.
    Edit: Even par (72)

Yeah, putting wasn't good. Everything else, including health, looked pretty solid (from what I saw, which was here and there).

Nothing spectacular. But nothing wrong with even-par on the tougher South course.

Me and my best friend have a beer bet on him. He's a Tiger fanboi, and has been since the beginning.
He calls me this morning and says I'll take 71 and under, you got over.
I just hung up the phone with him telling him how thirsty I was....it was a very very short conversation.

Almost making 1 on 16 was fairly sporty.

Well, sure, if you like near aces...

    Yeah, that was impressive.

The grass was not looking like that in Sept. But the views were spectacular, especially, I forgot what that par 3 is going to the ocean, but that was the best.

Prettiest par 3 in the world, IMHO.

Well yes no argument from me, #7 at Pebble is the most picturesque Par 3 I've ever had the pleasure of playing. (Not easy either, even with a SW from 100 downhill)

    Thanks for the photos too!

I don't think that column/essay said that at all. In fact, I think it was pretty reasonable as far as Cat contrarian takes go. It was mostly about Shane, but that's his style.
