Worse than Penn State. And I imagine there are a few other schools that shouldn't be throwing stones. It's one of the reasons I always wonder about players disciplined for "undisclosed violation of team rules." Shouldn't every journalist ask if this is in connection to a crime or a potential crime from now on?

The Ashley Dowser story is airing now on ESPN. Disgusting.

As much abuse as we've given the WWL in the past for downplaying or, in the case of Roethlisberger, ignoring such cases, they re-aired OTL's reports on football and men's basketball, plus reported on the Emmert report from The Athletic, in the first half-hour of the 11 p.m. PST SportsCenter.

You would think Woj would be verified by now.

Sign 1 that @TheSportsPredictor linked to a fake Woj account: it's not verified.

Dantonio, Izzo address MSU assault allegations

In a small victory for MSU, neither the head football coach nor the head basketball coach stepped in it, when addressing the situation Friday night.

A week ago, Izzo said that "I hope the right person was convicted".

Of course, Dantonio said Friday night that he has always dealt with the proper authorities when dealing with sexual assault of his players. Should be easy enough to document.

Not that it shouldn't be asked, but you're going to get the same answer you get now. If they aren't transparent, they aren't going to get transparent under questioning.

You see what I mean, though? William F. Buckley’s crack about “the first 200 names in the phonebook” was well-taken.
