Well, go to Point Lobos while you are there. You won't regret it! (As long as you don't fall in.)

  2. Buddy of mine and his BIL played it last year. I think it cost them $650 for the round.
Not sure, but it used to be the most expensive course In the country.

He also played Pinehurst No. 2, with a caddy, which ran him close to a $500.

  3. This is my favorite hole in golf ...

    No. 12 at Augusta National.
Had no idea Rae's Creek was so big.

Played Pinehurst No. 2 years ago on someone else's dime. It took a couple of holes to realize the caddies knew how to play the myriad* domed greens better than me.

A friend of mine has played all the great courses. He is a member at Riviera. He absolutely loved Pebble. But he said the best course he ever played was Bandon* Dunes in Oregon.

196 from the lettuce to 6 feet.
Like him or not, the guy can hit some spectacular shots.

They need to move the crowds to the middle of the fairway on Tiger's tee shots.

Hard to tell what to make of this other than he appears to have no pain. Rust? Nerves?

Finally hits a fairway and has an awful approach shot.

The short game and putting are impressive today.

    Bandon Dunes.

Part of the resort. Four courses, all ranked in the top 20 in the US. I'm going in a few months.
