UVa had taken the crazies out of it. Some interesting calls went ahead and got them fired up again.

Pretty sure he had it in his head the whole time he was going to draw the flagrant. Not going to get the benefit of the doubt with his reputation though.

Also, it looks like this is the first time UNC has lost in the Dean Dome and Duke has lost at Cameron on the same day.

Last time they both lost at home was 1973 when UNC still played at Carmichael.

 

The good news for Virginia is they beat Duke.

The bad news is Bennett will have them running stairs on Monday as punishment for breaking 60.

 

Meh. Duke was averaging over 90. Good joke though.

I would have preferred running laps around a statue.

 

It's interesting that in the rest of the ACC games UVa absolutely shut down the front court. Today Bagley and Carter got points, but Duke got nothing from the rest of the team.
