Outstanding. I want to make a Scotland/Ireland golf run eventually, though Bandon seems like the same kind of trip (great courses, caddies, likely dog-ass weather) without overseas prices and hassle.

I don't know if you guys are familiar with this hole, but IMO, definitely the best Par 3 that existed in 1929.

Did get to see much today. But under par for the event and healthy. That's encouraging.

Making the cut and playing two more competitive rounds is pretty big. Getting back to the grind.

Seems like his short game and putting are good enough to compete at a high level. Driver needs a lot of work.

T23 is pretty good, frankly. Especially after grinding to make the weekend. Encouraging going forward. Off for two weeks, then he'll be at Riviera, where he played as a 16-year-old in 1992 (and I covered), though he's not exactly played well there over the years.

This week will lure a few more people in Vegas to bet him at 15-to-1 to win the Masters. Ugh.

Good playoff, alas gotta go to Monday to finish. Those guys loooooove Monday finishes.

Swing still looks fairly square at top which is promising. He's still got "elite" power, just can't get rhythm duped in yet. Of course a lot of guys weee missing fairways today. The short game magic looks like it's still there, no more chipping w 4 irons hopefully.

It seems like he can compete at Augusta with his current game. And he has a few more tournaments and months of practice ahead.

If he’s ever going to contend in another major, it’ll be the Masters or British. I suppose a stray PGA is possible. Can’t imagine another US Open.

I’m quite interested to see the ratings for Torrey.

If you would have told him a month ago, that his first tournament back, he will play 4 rounds at par or better at Torrey, he would have taken that in a heartbeat.
