Yeah, seems like the second half of the season has been off compared to last season.

Overall not a great show. Moments but didnt live up to expectations. Bush was good. And I’ve always loved the voice imogulation character. Otherwise, meh.

Mikey Day and Heidi Gardner are two of the stronger featured players they've had in recent years. The nice thing about having someone like Farrell as a guest is that they don't overly rely on Kate Mckinnon to carry the show.

It felt to me as if a lot of the sketches had the same format -- group setting, whether it be a home or a restaurant, and passing around the funny pipe with Ferrell taking the strongest toke.

Simpson and Stapleton were by far the best part of the show IMO.

Loved the Patriots/Eagles sketch and the call back to Portman's rap with Andy Samberg.

Would've loved to have Jimmy Fallon there with Rachel Dratch, but NBC's got him in Minnesota.

Always loved this SNL skit when Montana was in his prime.

Fun times with Sir Charles last night, albeit the kind of laughs that require a shower afterward.

Loved the "fourth wall" joke on Kenan in the Family Feud sketch. When you think about it, add his time on All That and Kenan's been doing sketch comedy for about 20 years.

Next week: Stefon or we riot.

It shouldn't bother me anymore, but when a good actor like Sterling Brown does a host stint and spends 90 minutes looking at cue cards in a direction where he wouldn't normally be looking, well ...
