The same people crowing about Clinton following protocols and not immediately firing someone accused of sexual harassment were yelling a few weeks ago that Senate Democrats had forced Franken out without due process. The screech machine will screech, it's what they do.

Did you forget you no longer have any use for Hillary and she needs to move along?

So the vote was to release the memo.

And here we go, as Star used to say.

    What does this change?

Between the IG investigation, and seeing the memo, McCabe went from a guy that Wray wouldn't fire, even if ordered to do so, to a guy Wray wanted out of his current position ASAP.

So, McCabe did something wring, or unethical, or that he didn't report, which is the point.

Which is fine, but wasn't what you said while doing the happy dance this morning.

    Of course.

They tried to sow distrust in our election.

Obviously, they never thought Trump would win. Who did? Not even Putin. But, if they could damage Clinton some, by releasing embarrassing emails, and by giving Trump enough ammunition to declare that the election was "rigged" they would be happy.

That was why the media was so focused on getting Trump to say he would accept the results of the election.

But, the Russians were also working to embarrass Trump, and were feeding disinformation about him to the Clinton campaign.

The key is Fusion GPS, which put together the dossier, but also worked for the Kremlin to discredit Bill Browder, and to fight against the Magnitsky Act. Among the folks they worked with on that project were the same folks who met with the Trump Jr. at Trump Tower.

That the Democrats have tried to connect Trump and his campaign to the Russian interference, means the Russians succeeded the very same as if Clinton had won, and Trump had declared that the election was rigged.

They have succeeded in undermining America's faith in our election, and the Democrats have done the heavy lifting, to help them.

Worse, the Democrats know there is no there there, and they know they are serving the Russians in pursuing it, but they don't care. They think it will help them electorally.
