    Post-padding was once frowned upon. I'd guess like-padding would be the same.

    It's pretty crazy. I vaguely remember that thread, but did not remember that post.

    I too felt awful that no one said anything.

    He posted as recently as this month, but hasn't posted on anything other than the "Amazing Race" thread in years.

    I nearly responded, and/or tagged him in my post in this thread, but it's been 8 years. Holy crap. We do all collectively suck sometimes.

    There were more of those kinds of posts back then. (And many, many more 12-14 years ago.) It got a little too heavy around here for awhile, as in "an appointment with an actual professional may help more."

    Now, these days, I think people are almost waiting for some vulnerability, when half of the arguments around here seem to be about rhetoric and what-abouts and this-for-thats.
