    I thought that was the politics thread or the jobs board.

    We need more discussion of God.

    Things that will bring us together, unite and sing Kumbaya.

    The post padding was the dumbest thing ever here.

    Let me take a wild guess what's about to start. In 3...2...

    I'm hoping the addition of Likes to the site will keep the post padding at bay, because clearly the Likes-to-Posts Ratio (LPr) is the best metric to use when considering a poster's Hall of Fame credentials.

    I once went a year away from the site and still was second in total likes at one point.*

    *I have since turned off all notifications because I only have so much time in the day.

    That’s before you became an insufferable cynic.

    You’ll never get back to those numbers.

    The LiPoR figures are skewed because of the lack of likes in the early days. Like pitch counts before 1988 or whenever.

    It does make it hard to compare posters from different eras, I'll concede. But in another way, it's punishment for posting too much pre-Likes. Words have consequences.

    I've been posting since 2002 (JESUS CHRIST) and have 1814 Likes against 3224 Posts, for a very healthy LiPoR of.... Fuck, I have no idea.

    @doctorquant?

    Not proud, but I sometimes find myself wondering what is going on with Monday/Sportswriter (forget her other incarnations) these days, and whether athletes are still trying to get her digits.
