I've been here forever (pre-Piazza), but don't know anyone IRL, am not connected with anyone from here on social media, never went to the meet-ups, and have no idea who used to be who under a different name, so it could be.

Well, hell, man get with the program. Quit being an incognito guy.

I've lost count of the people I've met from here and a number have become actual friends. Haven't met anyone I'd consider a d-bag or worse. Had a great time at the D.C. outing (I was organizer for that one) and Seattle outing.

I'm thinking it's like our discussions of baseball analytics. Some are good for one thing, but not others.

I think it means the poster is just a compiler.

I think that, much as baseball history is divided between pre-1900 and post-1900 eras (and increasingly pre-WWII and post-WWII), SJ.com history should be divided between the pre- and post-double computer monitor eras.

    I like your wife.
QYFW's quality design helped us fool some judges at APSE one year.

So those things outweigh the d-bag factor and put you in the plus column.
    But not by much

It's been like four years since last time I saw SJers in the city, including Moddy, Dools, gingerbread and Cran, who, earlier in the night, had, unless I'm mistaken, bonded with Ragu!

Impromptu meetup with typefitter one night, which I think was actually technically a Twitter meetup.

And it's been eight and a half damn years since the famous night I was with IJAG, spnited, PaperDoll, hockeybeat and I think a few more. Two things about that night: Tiger was leading the 09 PGA after 2 rounds and was well on his way to his 15th major so I celebrated. I then missed the Saturday round because of extreme sickness from night before but was still confident when I woke up and saw he was leading into final round at Hazeltine. Tiger never blows 54 hold leads in majors. And also, that SJ meetup was the night we met Mos Def, or at least a guy pretending to be him. I still have his autograph on a napkin.

Was that the night one of you met a young woman from Argentina?
