My older brother had one of those. Cream colored with a British Racing Green stripe. When my family moved from Tampa to Atlanta in February of 1964, a moving van took most of the household goods. All the precious and fragiles were in the family station wagon, with mom, dad, and my little brother on the front bench seat and the rest of the car stuffed full. By the time we were in South Georgia, it was colder than shit, and that Sprite's heater was all but non-existent. I was freezing my eight year old ass off. We began to rotate people through the Sprite's passenger seat. My older brother was stuck driving it (hey, it's YOUR car...) and was seriously cold. You know what side curtains in a sports car are? No glass in the windows - it had plastic side windows that snapped in place, like the rear window of the convertible top. The wind was whistling through both windows at freeway speeds...

When we got to Atlanta, it was about 25 degrees. The yard of our new house was raw Georgia red clay, with ice crystals sticking up out of the ground. My little sub-tropical self was convinced that we'd moved to the North Pole. I'm amazed that my brother didn't get frostbite or hypothermia. I can think of very few times that I have ever been that cold again.

Loved that car, though. It's where I got the little ragtop sportscar bug.

So Diane Keaton is the latest who has come out in support of Woody Allen. I’ve read quite a bit about this case over the years, including the allegations his daughter was coached (which is what the authorities concluded) and it’s possible she simply remembers it how her mother coached her. I don’t know. If that’s the case, then it’s possible her mother and not Woody is the one who did a number on her. Just a strange, unique case, the family evenly divided.

Yep. The circumstances make it seem to me that it's very, very likely the girl was coached by her mom.

So, Thrush is back at the Times, and Lizza is back on CNN.

Not sure he gets back to Pixar though, even though a suspension was all that was announced.

I realize rumors and allegations are just that - but even to engage in a relationship with someone you started working with when she was 14 is kinda gross.

It's the likes of Nicole Eggert and Rose McGowan that really undermine this movement.
Scott Baio denies molesting Nicole Eggert in interview | Daily Mail Online

Rose McGowan seems unhinged. She wasn't raped, but said she gets to decide that the definition of rape is. O-K. Then she takes $100,000 from Weinstein to keep quiet, still continues to pal around with him, and then decides she has the high ground when everything hits the fan with him and starts throwing haymakers at just about every celebrity, including Meryl Streep. You took the money, and you kept quiet bc you wanted a career in a sleazy business. Sorry, you don't get to populate the high ground and try to look down on others.

I'm not gonna lie. This is pretty depressing.

At one time, I thought she was about the hottest girl/woman alive.

But, she looks better in that picture than she has in some previous ones.
