It’s been painfully obvious for a long time. They knew what they were doing was illegal and assumed they could get away with it.

These are not bright people.

So the only play they have is to attack the FBI. It’s disgusting.

Guessing Nunes knows he’s under water, which is why he’s going all-in.

Fingers crossed that there are enough honest republicans who won’t go along with this crap. So far, not so much.

Trump’s message is straightforward: Businesses are coming home, jobs are increasing, wages are growing, and American confidence is returning. There’s a simple counter to this, and it has the virtue of being more accurate than Trump’s economic claims. ...

It goes something like this:

Trump promised to bring change to Washington, but instead he brought more politics as usual. Breaking his promises to working people, he enacted a huge tax cut for billionaires and corporations that will enrich him and his big donors. To pay for the billionaires’ tax cut, Trump and Republicans will have to make huge cuts to Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security — on top of changes to health care that will cause millions to lose coverage and premiums to soar for everybody.

Is that so hard? Apparently.

 

Who cares about her? She's going nowhere fast, figures she'll make an obscene comment about a Kennedy, conservatives will eat it up and maybe she'll land a real job somewhere. Ho-hum.

I'm starting in a government class for HS seniors. For many of them, this was their first SOTU. The first comment between two periods was how many times people were applauding and how annoying it was.
